Cílem diplomové práce je popsat druhy webových map, ukázat principy fungování mapových serverů a popsat hlavní mapové servery v České republice. Důraz je kladen především na popis a užití datových formátů pro prezentaci map na webu a možnosti jejich konverze. Součástí práce je i vlastní konverzní program pro převod z formátu vtx (vkm) do formátu svg. Přiložené CD obsahuje diplomovou práci, konverzní program a ukázky vstupních a výstupních dat.
The main aim of this diploma thesis is description of different type of web maps. This work explains, in principles, foundation and purpose of map servers including practical examples from the leading web servers currently available in Czech Republic. The work places emphasis on usage and explanation of data formats for map presentation on the web, including different type of data conversion. The conversion program is transformation vtx (vkm) format to svg format. Detailed information, such as diploma thesis itself, conversion program and some practical examples, is presented, in electronic format, on the attached CD.
